GOMACO GP-2400 Slipform Paver
Compact, versatile two-track or four-track slipform paver for paving up to 24 ft. (7.32 m), barrier, scab-on, and municipal work.
The GOMACO GP-2400 is the versatile machine in the paving line, built for city streets, scab-on lanes and shoulders, mainline highway, overlays, and barrier wall. It paves up to 16 ft. (4.88 m) wide on the standard telescoping frame and up to 24 ft. (7.32 m) with frame inserts, as a two-track or a four-track paver. G+ controls interface with stringline or 3D machine guidance.
The four-track GP-2400 doubles as a barrier machine. Swinging its four legs to the outboard position lets it slipform barrier wall up to 7 ft. (2.13 m) tall, and G+ paves in Normal, Transport Mode Right, or Transport Mode Left to run with or against traffic.
Compact size is the point. The four-track transports as narrow as 8.2 ft. (2.5 m) without the mold, and each leg pivots up to 19 in. (483 mm) outward and 15 in. (381 mm) inward, so the paver threads past trees, obstacles, and existing structures that would stop a larger machine. It has slipformed a dairy pad with one leg straddling the feed bunk, a scab-on lane with the left tracks in the adjacent lane behind a safety barrier, and an interstate lane tight against running traffic. Optional 6 in. (152 mm) high-rise tracks trim the clearance further.

Benefits
One machine, many applications
The GP-2400 earns its keep by covering jobs a single-purpose paver cannot. City streets, mainline highway, scab-on lanes and shoulders, concrete against a retaining wall, polymer overlays on bridge decks, and barrier wall all run on the same machine. For a contractor whose work changes site to site, one GP-2400 replaces several narrower-purpose machines.
Barrier with or against traffic
The four-track GP-2400 turns into a barrier machine by swinging its legs to the outboard position. It slipforms barrier wall up to 7 ft. (2.13 m) tall, and G+ runs the tracks in Normal, Transport Mode Right, or Transport Mode Left, so it works on either side of a barrier and with or against live traffic.
Made for minimum clearance
Compact transport width and pivoting legs let the GP-2400 into places larger pavers cannot reach. Each leg pivots up to 19 in. (483 mm) out and 15 in. (381 mm) in, and optional 6 in. (152 mm) high-rise tracks shrink the footprint further. It has even paved with a leg straddling a dairy feed bunk.
G+ control and quick mold changes
G+ runs grade and steering from stringline or 3D guidance, with a 6.5 in. (165 mm) anti-glare display in imperial or metric and every major language. A T-beam mounting rail speeds mold mounting, positioning, and removal, and the U-shaped operator’s platform gives a skid-resistant surface and a clear view of the full paving operation.
Why GOMACO
Concrete paving since 1965
GOMACO has built concrete paving equipment out of Ida Grove, Iowa since 1965 and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. The paving line covers widths up to 50 feet (15.2 m) and depths to 19 inches (483 mm), and the same machines run on interstate mainline, airport runways, city streets, and canal work around the world.
G+ Operating System
G+ is proprietary, developed by GOMACO’s own control engineers rather than adapted from an off-the-shelf platform. It uses two-way communication between the paver and its accessories, closed-loop electronic and hydraulic control, and instant digital feedback. Contractors moving up from a GP-4000 can carry their existing attachments and sensors straight onto a new GP4.
Family owned from the start
GOMACO is still owned and run by the family that started it. Harold and Gary Godbersen founded Godbersen Manufacturing Company in 1965, and a third generation of the family is in the business today. Roughly 350 people build every machine in Ida Grove, Iowa, across more than 500,000 sq. ft. (46,450 m²) of plant, office and engineering space.
