One of the most highly attended events in the forestry industry, DEMO International, is fast approaching. From September 19 to 21, 2024, it will showcase live demonstrations of leading-edge forest equipment operating in a real-world logging environment. It’s truly a show like no other.
Forestry Equipment Show
In addition to the live demos, over 100 other exhibitors will present a wide range of products and services designed to support the forestry and logging professionals along a 3.2 km exhibition loop in the region of Venosta, Quebec. This region of Quebec, situated near the Ottawa Valley, is home to some of the finest White pine, Red pine, and hardwoods in North America. It is a natural resource of exceptional timber quality.

The DEMO International program goes beyond showcasing equipment; it also strongly emphasizes forest management. This focus is highlighted by the pre-DEMO International Conference, which will take place at the Delta Ottawa City Centre on September 17th and 18th.
With the theme “Adapting to New Forestry: Unlocking Innovative Solutions,” the two-day event is dedicated to advancing forestry innovation and sustainable practices. Attendees can expect expert-led sessions, advanced research presentations, and interactive discussions on the latest forestry technology and management breakthroughs. Topics will range from digitalization and automation to artificial intelligence, climate change, forest management practices, workforce development, and international insights into forestry, with a special focus on Finland’s advancements in the field.
