The Keestrack R5 combines tremendous fuel economy with great productivity. Designed with a load sensing hydraulic system to reduce emissions, owners can take advantage of the average fuel savings of 4 to 6 litres an hour. The Keestrack R5 mobile crusher is an absolute must-have for any serious gravel, quarry, mining, or concrete recycling operation.
Equipped with a large independent 2-deck pre-screen and reversible prescreen conveyor, the R5 impact crusher minimizes wear and tear on the crushing chamber by removing fines from the material before entering the crusher, ultimately extending the lifespan of the machine. Sticky fine material can be discharged safely without clogging up the machine.
The hydraulic release system within the crusher inlet opening coupled with the load sensing hydraulic drive for feeders ensures a smooth crush without jamming and interruptions in your production.
The Keestrack R5 is available with the conventional diesel-hydraulic drive or as a full-hybrid e-version the Keestrack R5e. The R5e has a highly efficient 5100 kg rotor driven via the 345 kW Volvo six-cylinder diesel engine. The hydraulics powers all the lifting cylinders on the chassis and conveyor belts, track drive, vibrating discharge chute, and screen module. A 160-KVa generator supplies the power to all other conveyor systems, including the 5 m³ vibrating feeder and the optional Neodym over-band magnet.

The R5 impact crusher features load sensing hydraulics which offers upwards to 20 – 30% in fuel savings compared to traditional diesel driven crushers. The R5 can also be equipped with a full diesel-electric hybrid system delivering up to 70% fuel efficiency and lower maintenance costs.
A patented tilting chassis allows the R5 to be leveled on uneven terrain or when loading onto trailer for transport. Additionally, servicing and changing of screens is easier as either end can be tilted for better access.
The R5 is designed a large independent 1 x 2.2 m (3′ x 7′) pre-screen. Fines can either be removed or stockpiled as an end product. Removal of the fines from the material before entering the crusher results in increased productivity and an extended lifespan of the machine.
The intuitive Relytec control panel is user friendly and easy to replace in the unlikely event of failure. It features one-press sequential start-up and shutdown, at a glance machine and production metrics and central adjustability with historical logs.
