GOMACO GT-3400 Slipform Paver
A wireless-remote, three-track curb and gutter machine offering right-side or left-side pour and a tight 24 in. (610 mm) radius.
The GOMACO GT-3400 is a three-track curb and gutter machine built around a “power of choice” idea: order it for right-side or left-side pour, run it on stringline or stringless 3D control, and slipform curb and gutter, tight radius, barrier, parapet, sidewalk, or flat slab up to 6 ft. (1.83 m) wide. It changes profiles fast with GOMACO’s Hook-and-Go mold system, and its total length is under 17 ft. (5.2 m).
The GT-3400 is run by wireless remote. The whole machine operates from a 6.75 lb. (3.1 kg) remote that frees the operator to walk the pour and watch the mold, with every function on it including vibrator control and emergency stop.
Tight-radius curb is where it shines. A 24 in. (610 mm) radius ribbon curb is achievable through the machine’s three-track design, three steer sensors, extra-large hopper, and All-Track Steering, which steers all three tracks so the machine follows a radius accurately instead of skidding across the grade. The simultaneous trim-and-pour setup runs the most powerful trimmer on the market: a direct-drive radial-piston head delivering 28,684 in-lb (3241 N·m) of torque, with trimming width variable from 30 in. Built for tight-radius curb
A 24 in. (610 mm) radius ribbon curb is within reach. Three steer sensors and All-Track Steering turn all three tracks so the machine follows a radius accurately instead of skidding, and an extra-large hopper keeps it moving without waiting on a truck. Its under-17 ft. (5.2 m) length fits the tight islands of a parking lot job.
Right or left, string or stringless
The GT-3400 can be ordered as a right-side or left-side pour machine, matching how a contractor’s crews and sites work. It runs on stringline or stringless 3D guidance without changing the control platform, and profiles change fast with the Hook-and-Go mount, which hooks to a plate with no pins or latches.
Why GOMACO
Concrete paving since 1965
GOMACO has built concrete paving equipment out of Ida Grove, Iowa since 1965 and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. The paving line covers widths up to 50 feet (15.2 m) and depths to 19 inches (483 mm), and the same machines run on interstate mainline, airport runways, city streets, and canal work around the world.
G+ Operating System
G+ is proprietary, developed by GOMACO’s own control engineers rather than adapted from an off-the-shelf platform. It uses two-way communication between the paver and its accessories, closed-loop electronic and hydraulic control, and instant digital feedback. Contractors moving up from a GP-4000 can carry their existing attachments and sensors straight onto a new GP4.
Family owned from the start
GOMACO is still owned and run by the family that started it. Harold and Gary Godbersen founded Godbersen Manufacturing Company in 1965, and a third generation of the family is in the business today. Roughly 350 people build every machine in Ida Grove, Iowa, across more than 500,000 sq. ft. (46,450 m²) of plant, office and engineering space.
