GOMACO Curb Cadet
A compact, highly mobile curb machine that slipforms concrete curb or extrudes asphalt and zero-slump concrete curb profiles.
The GOMACO Curb Cadet is a compact, highly mobile curb machine, the smallest in the GOMACO curb line. It slipforms concrete curb, and with the optional extruder kit it lays asphalt or zero-slump concrete curb from the same machine. At 3,419 lbs. (1551 kg) it is self-propelled and small enough to load and move without a heavy trailer, a fit for small crews, tight sites, and short runs.
The machine is operated from a control handle rather than a platform. Travel, three-point grade control, cross-auger direction and speed, vibrator, and engine controls all sit on the handle within reach, with manual front-wheel steering and a hydraulic rear track for mobility.
For its size it is capable. It pours curb on either side of the machine, with a hopper and mold that adjust up to 15 in. (381 mm), and it slipforms a 24 in. (610 mm) radius depending on the mold profile. Interchangeable molds cover any profile that fits a 12 in. (305 mm) wide by 14 in. (356 mm) high section, and with a slipform mold and the optional in-head vibrator it can place concrete over dowels or continuous reinforcing bar. Paving speed reaches 40 fpm (12.2 mpm), with a 93 fpm (28.3 mpm) auxiliary speed for moving around the site.

Benefits
Small, mobile, and quick to move
The Curb Cadet is the smallest machine in the GOMACO curb line, at 3,419 lbs. (1551 kg) and self-propelled. It loads and moves between jobs without a heavy trailer, so a small crew can take it site to site. For short runs, tight sites, and repairs, it does a job a full-size machine would be oversized for.
Concrete or asphalt curb
The Curb Cadet’s flexibility is in the material. As standard it slipforms concrete curb, and with the optional extruder kit, a double-skin hopper, heavy-duty extruding auger, and propane burner, it extrudes asphalt or zero-slump concrete curb from the same machine. A contractor doing both concrete and asphalt curb runs one machine instead of two.
Everything on the handle
The Curb Cadet is run from a control handle, not a cab or platform. Travel, three-point grade control, cross-auger direction and speed, the vibrator, and the engine all sit on the handle within reach, with manual front-wheel steering and a hydraulic rear drive track. One operator walks the machine and controls the whole pour.

Small does not mean limited. The Curb Cadet pours curb on either side with a hopper and mold that slide up to 15 in. (381 mm), and it slipforms a 24 in. (610 mm) radius depending on the mold. Interchangeable molds fit any profile within a 12 by 14 in. (305 by 356 mm) section, and an in-head vibrator places curb over steel.
Why GOMACO
Concrete paving since 1965
GOMACO has built concrete paving equipment out of Ida Grove, Iowa since 1965 and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. GOMACO is still owned and run by the family that started it. Harold and Gary Godbersen founded Godbersen Manufacturing Company in 1965, and a third generation of the family is in the business today. Roughly 350 people build every machine in Ida Grove, Iowa, across more than 500,000 sq. ft. (46,450 m²) of plant, office and engineering space.
