Business Development Sales Support Representative – British Columbia

Frontline Machinery is a family-owned equipment dealership specializing in the sale and rental of equipment for aggregate crushing and screening, wood grinding, waste shredding, and volumetric measuring technology. We cover from BC to Ontario, including the Yukon and NWT.

We are looking for a Business Development Sales Support Representative to join our team.

Based in Chilliwack, BC and reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing & Business Development, the role of the Business Development Sales Support Representative to identify, qualify, and nurture potential clients to support overall sales pipeline growth.

This role involves both outbound prospecting and managing inbound sales inquiries, ensuring leads are captured, organized, and assigned efficiently. As the first point of contact for incoming calls, you’ll provide basic product or service information, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue opportunities through effective lead management and communication.

This is an in-office position based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. Applicants must reside in the province, have reliable commuting options, and hold legal authorization to work in Canada. Remote candidates are not being considered.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify prospective clients using CRM database, LinkedIn, and industry sources.
  • Initiate outbound outreach via cold calls, emails, and social media to generate qualified leads.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-quality prospects.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and determine fit.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and lead status in CRM systems.
  • Answer and respond to incoming sales inquiries (phone and online) promptly and professionally.

Parts Sales Representative – Ontario

The Opportunity: As a Parts Sales Rep, you will call on a set list of target accounts in Southern Ontario to sell and promote replacement parts for crushers, screeners, and conveyors in the aggregate industry. This role requires excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of the products being sold. You will report to the Parts Sales Manager. The right candidate will have potential for growth within the company.

This position is based in Woodstock, Ontario, but the candidate will travel primarily in the GTA region. Applicants must be able to spend 1 day a week working from the Woodstock office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with target customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate parts and service solutions. This will be a combination of time on the road as well as some from the office.
  • Primary market is aggregate and material handling.
  • Identify potential customers and proactively seek new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Parts and service departments) to ensure timely delivery of parts and services to customers.
  • Work with internal team to prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sales agreements within company guidelines.
  • Achieve KPI’s set out by the company and keep accurate and up to date notes in the CRM.

Warehouse Coordinator – Alberta

Based in our Leduc Alberta location and reporting to the PARTS AND SERVICE SUPPORT, the role of the WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR is to assist with shipping, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize freight shipments inbound and outbound
  • Receive and enter incoming parts shipments
  • Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and the yard
  • Locate parts and other materials and ship to customers
  • Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory and stock information in computer systems
  • Help organize and label warehouse, responsible to keep parts warehouse tidy at all times.
  • On occasion help with other duties such as cleaning trucks and machines, building and property maintenance etc.
  • Deliver parts to site as needed.

Parts Technician – Ontario

The Opportunity: As a Parts Technician, you will assist customers with the purchase of parts. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing parts inventory, processing sales transactions, and ensuring that customers receive the right parts and products for their needs. The Parts Technician also works closely with technicians, the service department, and vendors. This role requires excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of the products being sold. You will report to the Ontario Parts and Logistics team lead. The right candidate will have potential for growth within the company.

The position is based out of the Woodstock Ontario location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and Service Department team to identify and recommend parts.
  • Answer the phone for incoming parts inquiries.
  • Enter orders into the computer system.
  • Perform stock orders as needed.
  • Cross over or source parts when exact match not available.

Equipment Sales Representative – Ontario

The Opportunity: As an Equipment Sales Representative, you will call on target accounts in Ontario. We are hiring two candidates to cover designated territories. One for Southern Ontario, and one for Northern Ontario to sell and rent crushers, screeners, wood grinders, shredders, and conveyors in the aggregate and recycling industries. This role requires excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of the products being sold. You will report to the Capital Equipment Sales Manager. The right candidate will have potential for growth within the company.

 

The Ontario office is based in Woodstock, but the candidate will primarily travel within their home base region, with limited travel to Woodstock.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with target customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate equipment solutions. This will involve a combination of time on the road and some time in the office (potentially remote).
  • This is a field-based, on-the-road position that requires frequent and extended travel. You’ll regularly visit client sites, attend industry events, and engage directly with customers across a designated territory.
  • Periodic travel to Frontline Machinery’s headquarters in British Columbia will be required for training and company events. Participation in Frontline Machinery training is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with a dynamic schedule, spending a significant portion of their time travelling by car. Some trips may require overnight stays.
  • This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mobile work environment, enjoys face-to-face interaction, and is adaptable to changing locations and travel demands.
  • There is a strong focus on business development, market research, and generating self-sourced sales opportunities.
  • You will be expected to proactively identify potential clients, research industry trends, and develop strategic outreach plans to build a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Success in this position requires a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable creating and pursuing new opportunities independently.

Mechanic – BC, AB & ON

We cover from BC to Ontario, including the Yukon and NWT. We are looking for MECHANICS to join our team.

Reporting to the REGIONAL MANAGER, the role of the MECHANIC is repair and maintenance of a variety of heavy equipment types and brands including crushers, shredders, screeners, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform service, repair, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance procedures on heavy-duty equipment
  • Accurately and completely document on Work Orders all machine information, actions taken and time
  • Ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards
  • Work on both customer and Frontline owned equipment
  • Work inside and outside, in all weather
  • Work is primarily during the week, but some weekend work is required as well
  • Travel out of town is required

Character, Skills, and Experience

  • Licensed Heavy-Duty Technician, or enrolled as an Apprentice or certified Journeyman in the Heavy-Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred
  • Experience working on heavy equipment as a mechanic; previous experience with aggregate equipment is a definite plus
  • Experience with hydraulics, welding, and electrical diagnosis and repair for electric over hydraulic systems
  • Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy-duty mechanic trade
  • Willing and able to travel
  • Valid driver’s license with reasonable abstract is required
  • Ability to use electronic devices (i.e. tablet or iPad) for mandatory completion of paperwork
  • Willing to learn new skills and machine types / brands
