2024 CBI 7544 Flail Debarker and Chipper Combo (#1000)

Combining the CBI Magnum Force Flail 604 and the CBI Magnum Force 754 Disc Chipper, the 7544 Flail Debarker and Disc Chipper combo offers a standalone solution for professionals who need maximum debarking and high-quality chip production all in one unit. The machine comes standard with three flails and the option to add a fourth for whole tree debarking. The 7544 is 53’ long, whereas the 604 and 754 combo is 72’4”. Powered by a CAT C-32; 1,200 HP engine, you can count on unmatched quality and unrivaled production.

3- or 4- roll flail design
CBI’s three and four-roll flail design provides optimum contact with wood to deliver maximum debarking action. Consisting of four 44” long by 40” diameter drums, the flail is capable of running single or dual 8-link chains and speeds of 200-700 rpm.

High production
The CBI 7554 chipper can accept logs up to 24″ in size and produce high quality wood chips sized from 3/8″ up to 1″ at rates up to 200 tons per hour. The 75″ diameter 4-knife chipper disc delivery the most uniform chip thickness and length.

Smart and innovative design features
The trash separator on the DC 754 discharges on the opposite side of the chip discharge, which allows for convenient side-by-side processing especially while chipping on road sides. The discharge chute folds hydraulically for transport and multi-angular chute work provides for the most chip trailer loading.
