CBI 7544 FLAIL DEBARKER AND CHIPPER COMBO
CBI 6800CT HORIZONTAL GRINDER
Combining the CBI Magnum Force Flail 604 and the CBI Magnum Force 754 Disc Chipper, the 7544 Flail Debarker and Disc Chipper combo offers a standalone solution for professionals who need maximum debarking and high-quality chip production all in one unit.
The machine comes standard with three flails and the option to add a fourth for whole tree debarking. The 7544 is 53’ long, whereas the 604 and 754 combo is 72’4”. Powered by a CAT C-32; 1,200 HP engine, you can count on unmatched quality and unrivaled production.
The CBI 6800 Horizontal Grinder has been specifically designed for land clearing companies and yard waste processors who demand high-volume throughput and maximum reliability. The first grinder ever made that can grind whole trees as fast as a 30″ chipper can chip – with a fraction of the prep and maintenance!
It features a high torque, hydrostatic feed system; PT Tech hydraulic clutch; and a choice of two CAT power plants. The 4” thick, high strength rotor core is shear pin protected. The entire system is controlled by IntelliGrind logic that incorporates feed speed that varies automatically with engine load, and an optional modem communications system that provides for real-time system diagnostics, analysis, and operating program adjustments allowing the operator to optimize performance while avoiding costly downtime.
This portable horizontal grinder was developed to feature the same principles of the proven CBI 6800BT Grinder but is purpose-built for contractors dealing with transportation restrictions. Like CBI’s other horizontal grinders, the 5800BT never compromises strength or performance.
Built to reduce the customer’s total cost, replaceable 1” thick Hardox 450 wear liners fully protect the inside of the grinding chamber and simplify maintenance. Other features include a 30” diameter upper feed roller with a built-in high-torque hydraulic motor, hydraulic up and down pressure, and 20 weld-on hammers with bolt-on reversible tips.
